Exploring New Techniques – Bonding

Top Seiko is a company that specializes in machining of ceramics, glasses, and refractory metals, but recently, some of our customers have had demands for additional features such as lapping, metallization, precision cleaning, and bonding.

As the first step for our business expansion, we are exploring bonding techniques of materials we can machine. The picture is a sample of quartz glass. The outer diameter is diameter 100, and there are three layers. We would be able to bond between the same type of materials as well as different materials are possible. Also, the most remarkable advantage of this bonding is that we can bond the materials directly (i.e. without binders, adhesives, welding.)
